High-Low (HiLo, or HL) charts are like OHLC (Open-High-Low-Close) charts with no open and close values. All we care about are the highest and lowest price values during a day, month or year. They appear as simple range thin sticks.
Our Stock Variation single-series demo charts show high and low values at the end of each year. Just like range column charts, they show the range for the cumulative price fluctuations during each year. All our candlestick and OHLC charts, and their variations, use the same main data: open, close, high and low stock values for some random XPSW stock symbol, every year between 1999 and 2016.
